La LAGUNA Old Town
- World Heritage Site
La Laguna old town is the oldest example of an unfortified colonial town
inspired by the principles of navigation: the science of its day. Its Spanish
colonial architecture, and the overall charm of the historical district make it
worthy of UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
TENO RURAL PARK
This ancient volcanic massif, landscaped by erosion, forms high cliffs
by the sea and is peppered with exposed volcanic plugs and dikes. The park is
an ecological and cultural treasure full of rich laurel forests and gorgeous
landscapes. It's also a sanctuary for many animal species such as the osprey.
El MÉDANO
Connected to El Medano beach and within the Montaña Roja protected area
we find this little treasure of Tenerife. The kilometre stretch of fine,
toasted sand, well away from urban areas, is perfect for a relaxing day on the
beach.
The old town of La OROTAVA
La Orotava, catalogued as a historical, artistic and monumental
treasure, has so many cultural points of interest that a visit is almost
obligatory, The town dates back to the 16th Century and while its streets are
laden with history you'll also find plenty of shops and outdoor cafés for a
perfect evening out.
